COACH DEVELOPMENT TOUR OF ENGLAND 2020

FRIDAY 7TH TO WEDNESDAY 12TH FEBRUARY

We would like to welcome you to the UK International Soccer and XL Soccer Tours Coach Development Tour for 2020.  Our partner XL Soccer Tours will be providing a truly unique and exciting opportunity to travel to England and participate in workshops and behind the scenes insights into coach and player education at some of the top training facilities in the world.  The schedule will include the chance to not only meet some of the top coach educators in England but also enjoy the chance to watch top class live games and stay in superb accommodations.  

This tour is open to coaches at all levels of the game from grass roots to top academy level and for anyone involved in the UK International Soccer family.  We hope you will agree that this one of a kind experience will provide a fantastic educational insight that you can take back to your programs and pass on to your players, parents and fellow coaches. 

XL Soccer Tours has been organizing tours to some of the best soccer countries in the world since 2001.  The emphasis on this tour will be on coach development and education but we will also ensure there is a massive emphasis on enjoyment for the entire experience rather than just soccer. 

 

You will be joined on the tour by your own XL Tour Director and XL staff as well as members of the UK International Soccer team.  Throughout the week we will have our very own luxury bus and driver to get us to every location in comfort and style.  During the tour we will be staying in top ranked hotels in England including the Hilton Hotel at the incredible St. George’s Park training center for the English Football Association.  This superb 330 acre facility is the English F.A.’s base for all coach development work and the training and preparation center for all of England’s various national teams.

 

In addition to the soccer workshops we will also get the chance for some sightseeing around the North West of England and even a visit to the world famous Old Trafford Stadium home of Manchester United Football Club.  Included in the tour package are also live tickets to top games in the North West including teams from the English Premier League and the English Championship with fixtures to be confirmed once TV schedules have been finalized.

WHAT DO I DO NOW?

XL Soccer Tours has set up a Coach Development Tour information page where you can review the schedule and view other important information.  To register for the tour go to www.xlsoccerstours.com then choose the “MY TOUR” tab at the top right and when you click on UKIS Coach Development Tour 2020 you will be asked for a password which is ukiscoach20 and always in lower case. 

 

Once the tour page opens up you should go to the left of the page and click on the BOOK NOW link.  There you can view the itinerary and book your place on the trip using your credit card or by mailing in a check to:  XL Soccer Tours, 825 Courtland Street, Orlando, FL 32804

 

 

WHAT IS THE COST OF MY TOUR AND WHAT WILL IT INCLUDE?

The cost of this 5 night tour is only $1,999 per person based on 20 people.  The cost of this tour will be based on final registrations and will only go ahead with a minimum of 20 paying people by November 1st 2019.  If we do not get to the required number by November 1st you will be offered the opportunity of a refund or option to join a different XL tour.

• Coaching Development Workshop at St. George’s Park with England FA coach educators and visits to top Academy locations for meetings and Q&As with staff coaches.  Review training sessions and behind the scenes access. 

• 2 nights’ bed and full brunch/breakfast in Hilton Hotel at St. George’s Park, the same hotel where the England national teams stay.

• 3 nights’ bed and full brunch/breakfast at 4 star city center North West Hotel

• Tickets for a minimum of 2 professional live games with option to add further tickets schedule permitting.  Please note all live games are subject to TV schedule. 

• Stadium tour of Old Trafford the Home of Manchester United. 

• LIVE Customer service and XL Travel Coordinator in the US to handle any questions and requests.

• All UK domestic transportation via luxury motor coach that remains with the group at all hotel accommodations throughout the tour.

• Fully escorted 24 hours a day by XL Travel Director and staff

• All registrations, communication, payment process handled through your very own unique web page.

WHAT ARE THE DEADLINES FOR PAYMENTS?

We have a limited number of spaces available for this tour and expect a great deal of interest so we would invite you to register with your initial payment before the suggested deadline.  To break down the cost of the tour XL Soccer Tours will offer travelers the opportunity to pay through installments with the following timelines:

Initial payment to secure tour place ($500): on or before August 7th 2019   

Second payment ($500): on or before September 7th 2019 

Third payment ($500): on or before October 7th 2019 

Final balance: on or before December 7th 2019   

 

DOES XL SOCCER TOURS OFFER ANY FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS?

XL Soccer Tours offers a fantastic fundraising program involving a raffle prize draw for one of their “Soccer Fanatic Weekends”. There is an additional document online with details of this program.  Once you have made your first payment simply email XL at info@xltravel.com to request your first book of 25 raffle tickets and XL will then send them out to your home address so you can immediately start raising money for the next installment payment.  As you pay the remaining balance XL will continue to send out tickets providing you request them.

 

WHAT ARE THE HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS?

All hotels are superb 4 star locations and include the Hilton at St. George’s Park and when in the North West we will be staying at a city center hotel.  Rooms will be double occupancy and a roommate will be assigned to you although if you have a preferred roommate, you can specify this at registration.  If you did not do this at the point of registration, please email info@xltravel.com with your request.  Single supplements are available upon request to XL Soccer Tours for an additional fee.   

 

WHAT ARE THE FLIGHT AND TRAVEL DETAILS I NEED TO BE AWARE OF?

Coaches are responsible for their own international flight to England but from your arrival to departure XL Soccer Tours will provide all internal transportation.  XL Soccer Tours staff will arrange to meet the group at Manchester airport on Friday 7th February to collect everyone.  On Wednesday February 12th if flight times allow the bus will make one trip to Manchester airport at a set time based on the final schedule.  When booking your flight you should ensure that you arrive in time to join the group on Friday February 7th no later than 11.00am so ensure you provide enough time to get through customs and immigration.  The meeting location will be within the airport and will be determined closer to the date as we collect everyone’s flight details.  To assist with your travel plans the XL Soccer Tours staff can answer questions, make recommendations and even source the best possible options for you from their list of preferred partners.  If you would like further information on these options please email tara@xltravel.com or brittney@xlsportsworld.com in the XL office or call Brittney direct on 781-210-7896.
