UK INTERNATIONAL SOCCER AND XL SOCCER TOURS

WOMENS WORLD CUP TOUR 2019

Sunday June 30th to Monday July 8th

 

Dear friend and families of UK International Soccer,

In the summer of 2019 we will be working with our partner XL Sports Tours to provide an exceptional international tour for our players and parents.  Next year the biggest event in Women’s Soccer will take over the country of France as the USA attempt to defend their status as the World’s best team.  This is your chance to represent UKIS and mix with thousands of other soccer mad fans in Paris and Lyon and watch BOTH World Cup Semi Finals AND the Final!  We are opening this tour to girls over the age of 12 and will then form age appropriate teams from the registrations to be coached by UKIS staff.

The purpose of this email is to give you a little further information about the proposed schedule of the tour and how you can check out even more information on XL Sports Tours. XL Sports Tours has been taking USA teams overseas since 2001 and the trips are always an enormous success.  These tours are unique, educational and with a massive emphasis on enjoyment of the entire experience rather than just soccer. 

 

During the tour we will be staying in top ranked hotels and will have the chance to take in some incredible sights.  We will get to enjoy a professional guided tour of Paris and even take a trip up the Eifel Tower for the best view of the city, tour Versailles and even cruise down the Seine. 

 

During our tour our group will be chaperoned by a team of XL Sports Tour staff and guides and our own luxury motor coach.  We feel this tour will provide our players, parents and coaches with a fantastic opportunity to experience a once in a lifetime soccer event. 

 

WHAT DO I DO NOW?

To find out more about the tour and to register your interest go to http://www.xltravel.com/ukis-womens-world-cup-tour or alternatively go to www.xlsportstours.com  then choose the “MY TOUR” tab at the top right and scroll down to UKIS Women’s World Cup Tour.  After you click on this link you will then be prompted for the password which is ukiswwc19 in lower case.  When you open the page you will find information on the tour itinerary along with other notes including payment schedule and how to make a payment, fundraising options to cover the entire cost of your tour, insurance options and even flight options. 

To register for the tour click on the BOOK NOW link to the left hand side of the page and follow the steps listed.  You can book your place on the trip using your credit card or by mailing in a check to:

WHAT ARE THE HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS?

Typically players will share rooms together and any accompanying members of the group will automatically be placed together (same sex only).  If you have a preferred roommate, you can specify this at registration.  If you did not do this at the point of registration, please email info@xlsportsworld.com with your request.  Most hotels in Europe do not as a rule allow more than 2 people in a room and the price of the tour is based on a per head amount so there is no discount for having more people in a room.

 

WHAT IS THE COST OF MY TOUR AND WHAT WILL IT INCLUDE?

The cost of the program will be $2,074 per person based on 35 travelers.  Please note the cost does not include your international flight or the tickets for the live games which will be added once these fees are confirmed.    

 

INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE

• UKIS Representative Uniform for all players

• Opportunity to play friendly matches against hand selected opposition.  Teams will be age appropriate and made up from player registrations for the tour.

• Guest sessions from top level coaches at academy facilities

• All accommodation in 3-4 star hotels.

• All scheduled sightseeing included with guided tours of Paris, Lyon and Perouges

• Tickets to tour the Eiffel Tower, a cruise on the Seine and the Palace of Versailles

• 2 Meals per day, breakfast and dinner.

• LIVE Customer service and your own Tour Coordinator in the US to handle any questions and requests

• Additional separate sightseeing trips and cultural events for parents can be included. 

• Participate in the XL Travel Fundraising program; cover the entire cost of your tour!

• All internal transportation via luxury motor coach that remains with the group at all hotel accommodation meaning no waiting for your bus to arrive!

• Group flight options through XL Sports Tours or use own air miles, we have the best access to the best prices in the business!

• Tickets to World Cup games, all tickets are subject to availability and XL Sports Tours will provide pricing as soon as availability is confirmed and pass on to tour.

WHAT ARE THE DEADLINES FOR PAYMENTS?

We fully expect this tour to book up with tickets to the World Cup being in high demand.  To break down the cost of the tour travelers have the opportunity to pay through installments with the following timelines:

Initial payment to secure tour place ($100): on or before January 15th, 2019 

Second payment ($500): February 15th, 2019

Third payment ($500):  March 15th, 2019

Current balance (includes flight base if applicable): April 15th, 2019  

Group Flights Balance: Subject to airline contract

 

DOES XL SOCCER TOURS OFFER ANY FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS?

Yes we do.  We offer a fantastic fundraising program involving a raffle prize draw for one of our “Soccer Fanatic Weekends”. There is an additional document online with details of this program.  Once you have made your first payment simply email us at info@xlsportsworld.com to request your first book of 25 raffle tickets and we will then send them out to your home address so you can immediately start raising money for the next installment payment.  As you pay the remaining balance we will continue to send out tickets for each $500 payment as you request them.

 

WHAT ARE THE FLIGHT AND TRAVEL DETAILS I NEED TO BE AWARE OF?

You are responsible for their own international flight to France but from your arrival to departure XL Soccer Tours will provide and arrange all internal transportation.  XL Soccer Tours staff will arrange to meet the group at Lyon airport on Monday July 1st to collect everyone.  On the final day of the tour the bus will make one trip to Lyon airport at a set time based on the final schedule.  When booking your flight you should ensure that you arrive in time to join the group on July 1st no later than 11.00am so ensure you provide enough time to get through customs and immigration or if you arrive on an earlier date please make your way to the airport to meet the group.  The meeting location will be within the airport and will be determined closer to the date as we collect everyone’s flight details.  To assist with your travel plans the XL Soccer Tours staff can answer questions, make recommendations and even source the best possible options for you from their list of preferred partners.  If you would like further information on these options please email tara@xltravel.com or brittney@xlsportsworld.com in the XL office or call Brittney direct on 781-210-7896.
